Relax, Renew, and Energize with an evening of ear acupuncture and the healing power of breath.
Relax, Renew, and Energize with an evening of acupuncture and the healing power of breath. Our breath is a powerful tool for maintaining health, balance, and calm under pressure. Balanced breathing can help increase energy, help us sleep better, and even improve our blood pressure. Acupuncture uses very small needles in the ears to move energy, heal health challenges, and maximize wellness.
In this evening of relaxation, and rejuvenation, we will learn the secrets of making our breath our ally for self care. We will begin with some gentle easy stretching and movement to open up our breathing, and learn about the current research supporting how to use breath as a tool to managing stress and maintaining health. With the help of ear acupuncture, we’ll then practice some simple yet powerful ways of breathing that allow us to increase energy, reduce stress, undo old patterns of conditioning, and build resilience to support us in stressful times.
At the end of the program you’ll leave feeling more relaxed, energized, and refreshed. You’ll receive useful tips and tools to support healthy breathing along with a handout reviewing some simple breathing exercises (including a soundtrack made by Dr. Meyers to guide you through one of the most powerful and health-ful breathing techniques). You’ll also receive some other specific tools you can use to make your breath your friend and ally in stressful times.
